Presentation will provide education around brain impact during chronic stress, such as homelessness, and discuss why behaviors are adaptive, though challenging. Tools will be provided for creating a space that incorporates principles to allow for person-centered engagement and increase follow through. We will engage in a conversation around what the experience of homelessness is like through personal narratives and photos and be open to being challenged on previous assumptions around homelessness.
