I have spent my career working in homeless-service settings, such as shelters, drop-in centers, or housing programs. In those settings, I spent most of my time as a supervisor, program manager, psychotherapist, and always as a community consultant.
Specializing in the affects of ongoing trauma on the brain, I enjoy working with nonprofits to provide clinical consultation from a mental health perspective. I can provide direct staff supervision and guidance while staff navigate the muddy waters of homelessness, mental health, and chemical use. As a licensed mental health professional, I also am able to provide clinical review of documentation or case files.
I am happy to present to nonprofits regarding Harm Reduction, Mental Health, Trauma, or Ethical Decision-Making.
